Although advertised a 'Dove Releases', no ethical person would release a true Dove. An actual Dove is smaller, not a strong flyer, and has no homing instinct. It would be potentially cruel to perform a dove release with members of this species.
Related to Doves, White Homing Pigeons are a variety of the Rock Dove. They are slightly larger, have the important homing ability, and are stronger flyers. So we always use White Homing Pigeons, as they return home, after prolonged and precise training.
We take extreme care of our 'Doves'. My father has been looking after and training birds for 65 years ! We only release birds that have been properly cared for and training. Our birds live happily in their own loft, on our own property. They are fed on quality feed and given an enviable amount of love and attention, so they return the favor by returning home to us.
Unless you are an ornithologist, it is unlikenly you will be able to tell the difference between a White Dove and a White Homing Pigeon. Our gentle birds are no different from the pigeons used for racing, except for their beautiful pure white feathers.
But no matter what, our 'Doves' will capture your heart x
You can choose to release our 'Doves' by hand
or from a beautiful decorated baskets or cage
They can all be decorated to match your colour scheme
The welfare of our 'Doves' our priority at all times and all our baskets and cages allow plenty of room and air for our 'Doves'
If you have something specific in mind please ask and we will see if we can accommodate your request.
We are not able to provide caged 'Doves' as table adomments at reception
